Art Extension

Ages 10-12
Students are encouraged to continue to expand their artistic potential, skills, aesthetic senses and creative imaginations. The cornerstone in the course is for the children to further their drawing skills. Students keep a personal sketchbook, in which to gather inspiration and record ideas as a resource for their individual projects. Students also explore and develop skills in a full range of media, including acrylics, watercolours, sculpture, design, mixed media, craft, printmaking and ceramics as well as aspects of art appreciation and theory.
Classes are held on Monday 5.15 - 6.45pm.

Beginners

Ages 4-5

The creative right-brain thought and the skills practiced in art will benefit the child in all areas of learning. During a session the children will explore several media, for example painting, printing, collage and clay.
Classes are held Saturday 11am - 12.15 and 12.45-2pm
